Dermatologist

Nari Lee, MD is a board-certified dermatologist with interests spanning general, cosmetic, and procedural dermatology, and will join The Dermatology Institute of Boston in September 2026. Dr. Lee brings a patient-centered approach to her practice, emphasizing careful assessment, clear communication, and personalized treatment plans to achieve natural, harmonious results. Her expertise spans a wide range of dermatologic concerns, from general medical and pediatric dermatology to advanced cosmetic enhancements.
Dr. Lee earned her Bachelor of Science in Immunobiology, magna cum laude with Honors, from Brown University, where she was also awarded the Brown Senior Biology Prize. She went on to complete her medical degree at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. After an internship in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School, she completed a rigorous dermatology residency at Northwell Health, where she served as Cosmetic Chief Resident. During her residency, she gained extensive experience in all aspects of dermatology, including medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Lee is dedicated to advancing dermatologic knowledge and patient care. She has published research on lasers and injectables, with her work also advocating for equity in dermatologic care. As a former Resident Liaison for the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS), Dr. Lee has actively contributed to dermatology resident education and the development of laser safety guidelines.
Dr. Lee is fluent in English and Korean, and she is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Association of Cosmetic Dermatology, and the Women’s Dermatologic Society. In her free time, she enjoys film photography, crochet, and is a two-time national collegiate bronze medalist in taekwondo.
